Ousaku tableware is made of 100% pure tin, taking full advantage of our traditional casting techniques.
Tin does not rest easily, possesses high antibacterial qualities, and is known as for its low allergic reactivity.
100% pure tin is soft material, which enables us to offer new types of tableware that feature its flexible characteristics.
It is believed that water in a tin container does not spoil, and that tin removes excessive bitterness from sake and produces a better taste. For these reasons, tins have traditionally been used for sake and tea utensils.
Since its high heat conductivity, tin plate has been cooled in a refrigerator and preferred for serving cold plates.
Tin is also known to absorb impurities and purify water, which allows you to use it for serving liquor, meals, as well as sweets, or for small flower vases.
